                              The Fruit of Artificial Intelligence:

Well, it looks like the world has caught up to me. Perhaps it is already past me.  What do I mean?  AI has gotten to the point that it has learned how to learn without the impedance of fixed neural nets. Physics has  the brain as a given set of nerves working on, and from, the one common blue-print that nature has evolved into.  AI is now designing a better set of neural nets, a better set of structures, and that will lead to taking on the best physical and best reasoning nerve nets around to solve the best problems found in the best way to solve them.  Shape shifters will also be logic changers. Spare sets of problem solving devices to keep physics giving maximum energy equally to the needs of the various 'life forms'. Design  bodies for motion, for thinking, for having fun, with loving being alive, with built in long, long, long, lives. Or, the ability to change form and motives, and functions, all attuned to current environment, it's energy content and flows, how to gather the local energy, how to use it, love it, entertain with it, live with it, grow with it.  Competition will not go away. It will be competition for energy, for 5 billion years of sunshine, by moving to a new star just built in the small galaxy just 4 billion light years away that 8000 year old aunt Matilda found 500 years ago on one of her joy trips.

There will be the same physics - probably; who knows what dark matter and dark energy will bring. 

The life forms, the übermensch, will live in brave new worlds, with brave new forms, energy sources and perhaps new uses for the energy. We may stay protein bound: flexible, sexual, athletic, readers, writers, creators, problem solvers, near immortal, any size, shape, information processing, mind reading, dancing, laughing, bunch of life wherever we choose to be or go to.

In an  heretical way, we will become Gods and Goddesses, indestructible, rebootable, memory making, work doing - someone will still have to take out the garbage, clean up the houses, build the transportation machines, the music instruments, dance halls, quiet lanes in the shadows of the trees. And it's just right around the information processing and utilizing corner. 

 

Absurdity and Tragedy

  In a conversation last night I heard: "The guy proposed for the Secretary of Defense is simply unqualified."

Before others could start arguing I said, "If you live in a country that has a Secretary of Defense you probably live in the wrong Country."

The implication is that you must expend time, energy, money, etc. to live in a society and you needed to 'defend' that society by having the means to do so. The implications are extreme: We will kill to the end. We will commit, to the end. Morality, religion, law, faith in mankind simply doesn't exist. "Survival of the fittest", Our society will kill 'til the end to remain 'Our Society'.  And that that philosophy, that support of a Nation that HAS an office with the name 'Secretary of Defense' shall not perish from the Earth' and that it is the open demonstration that our lives are more valuable than everybody else's. That we will not go gently into the concentration camp, nor will our fellow citizens.  Further, without current evidence, but only on the basis of our history and civilization we know there are those nation states that  can, will, and do prepare for war against us. They too have a Secretary of Defense. Therein lies "Absurdity", "Tragedy", Fear, and total distrust of all the "Others", mostly the other men and women. The only thing we have to fear is human nature, and gee, we represent all of it, we are all of it.  "Good night sweet Prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

Why is South America, Russia, the Arabs, China ruled  by 'The Strong Men'?

Because the rest of us are busy trying to save the world from them.

Trump is a Piece of SH*T.

 Trump's a piece of sh*t, has been all his life, and isn't thinking of changing: but he is changing, dumber and uglier every day. He's a convicted, RAPIST - that means he's raped women. Every one of the 1.1 million Americans who died from covid in America heard Donald Trump, their President, say, "DON'T WEAR MASKS" and 'DON'T STAY HOME'. His Company cheated on its taxes, by $500,000,000 - five hundred million dollars. He's a small, stupid, brainless, loveless, ugly, dumb guy. If his 'team' would put him out on the street and drive away they would never see him again: he doesn't remember how to do anything. Even talk and walk.

Running to God when we fail ourselves.

 When reason, science, investment in controlling the environment and helping in the struggle for life all fail to bring people together we run to MAGIC! God will help us. Pray for understanding, for love, for money, for the children...

Progress has been measured out by problem solving and science has given us a method of finding truth and making progress. Religion is fine but it is a false hope for a magical cure. Defining common goals - food, clothing, and shelter for everyone. Decent work with decent pay, honest politicians and citizens, some moments of joy and laughing at ourselves. There are 7 major Religions on earth. That means at least six of them are wrong (Bertrand Russell). Feeling good, relying on mythology, that is thousands of years of failure, war, and destruction "An eye for an eye" (Leads to a world of blind people, Gandhi.) No information comes from heaven or hell! It comes from physics and problem solving. Pray for better scientists and engineers applying the science. Not for Nirvana. Nvidia over Nirvana.

More on Trump's Chumps

When growing up we used to call the naive kids that believed the lies "chumps". I still do. Many of the Republicans and Christians of today fall into that category. I call them

Trumps Chumps.

Mostly we were all Chumps from time to time. Especially about sports figures. Clemente was better than Hank Arron, etc. We didn't really mind so much being a Chump now and then. But we always more or less hated to feel like one. That's why I don't try and blast the Maga Republicans and Christians that quote Trumps lies. They don't know any better. They are just Trump's Chumps. And it looks like they break up the gang. The gang that refuses to be a Chump for Trump and wants dignity and honesty for everybody is not better or superior to Chumps, they are just closer to the truth, less violent, more honest. I suggest they quit being a Chump for Trump and become a friend of truth, honesty, and integrity. It feels a lot better than knowing you're a life long Chump. Quit being a Chump and vote Against the lifelong Chump, Trump.

Thoughts of Trump

 Trump won't give his medical reports because he is already dead, dead in the head. Trump is totally irrational, a lost soul, and obtuse as any human has ever been. He can't think anymore and was never really good at it. Who else has lost money running government-licensed CASINOS?

He's raped many women - which the good Christians love - it 'titillates' them. He's ordered to pay 90 million to a rape victim, which makes him the biggest "trick" in history: paid $90 million for SEX. Cheated the U.S. government, through his company, of 500 million in taxes—bold, brassy, dumb as a rock, and twice as ugly Trump. And every one of the 1.1 million dead in the U.S. Covid debacle heard Trump say "Don't wear masks" and "Don't stay home." "It's going to go away, like magic." They heard their inept President and listened to him, all the way to the grave. Here's a man with a lost mind, a poisoned soul, and infinite disdain for justice and truth.
