Epstein's story demonstrates the narrowness of the Wealthy. Their lack of insight into 'human nature', appears to shadow, to cover over, a very narrow view of life, law, and humanity. Greed, self-aggrandizement, and social status are the motive to 'excellence' and the 'good life'.
It's all rather devoid of humanity, morality, and engagement with the joy, challenge, and interactions of caring, involved individuals striving to spread knowledge, friendship, and challenges that face all of us. Pity...
