Equality of all ...

To all the "superior people", Republican and Democrat: you aren't, you aren't superior. You may have letters after your name, earned by hard work and with hope and care for the country, but that's what all of us do: work, for the country, for our family, for ourselves, and we succeed, and we fail, also. The key is to not accept any second rate position, no position that make Trump and the Republicans, "better than us", and no position where anyone is "superior" to any of us. Humility, honesty, truth, are still the right philosophy for a Democracy to survive. The Republicans, and especially Trump, believe they are "above us". While they obviously, factually, aren't. We must retake our responsibility to advocate our mutual interdependence, our mutual need of help from each other, our commitment to make "a more perfect Union". Damn the rich, super-rich, and others who think a few dollars more in their bank makes them better qualified to rob and abuse the common man. To make the "rules of the road". "To thine own self be true and it shall follow as the night the day that thou cans't not be false to any other man". Vote in November. Vote for truth, justice, and the American way: vote against Trump and his Republican flunkies. Vote for liberty and justice for all. Vote for America, not a part, or party, of America.

Republicans and lost Wars

There appears to some systematic errors in the U.S. Government.  And I'll lay a few of them on the Republicans, especially about the American wars.
On the matter of war: we have at least 10 nuclear powered Aircraft Carriers with 100 or so planes on each one and probably 6 to 10 nuclear war heads,  And we have lost 5 wars since the Second World War.
Republicans:
 Eisenhower effectively lost the Korean war and signed an
                 armistice with Korea.
Nixon lost the Vietnam war.
Bush Sr. Destroyed Iraq's army but left the government
                     intact.
Bush Jr. is still looking for "weapons of mass destruction"                   
                     to justify the lives and money of lost Iraq war.
Trump leaves Afghanistan, and himself and America a loser.
All the Republican losers have made America foolish & frightening.

Trump's "Shallow State"

Trump, sitting atop the "Shallow State" has spent 3 years tearing down the "Deep State" of Presidents keeping the Department of Justice out of their sphere of immediate and personal interference. Trump has driven many competent members of the Deep State into unemployment and lost careers. All the while creating the Shallow State with appointments of incompetent and inexperienced persons who have sworn allegiance to Trump and damn America and the Constitution. Six felons of Trumps gang of initial Shallow State friends and campaign employees went to jail. Barr, as shallow and empty of honor as any human has ever been, fills the top of the DOJ with his obeisance to the head of the Shallow State, Trump, the raw uneducated, unskilled, liar. We must work to recapture law and order, justice for all, equality before the law, and a government of the people, for the people, and by the people. WE are near the edge of its having passed us by. Republicans have already seated themselves at the tables of the Shallow State and seek their rewards, their deserved reward for giving up Duty, Honor, Country. Empty men, head piece filled with straw, Alas.

The Trump Take Over is Coming..

Republicans are going to stuff the ballot boxes, ban democrats from voting, put people in jail for trying to vote, destroy any semblance of legality for our elections. They will have the full force of the FBI, CIA, NSA, and US Army at their disposal. And the American people are going to stand around and let them. Watch the take over come. Complain and moan about it. write silly letters about it. You've lost your Country, face it. Start planning to get strong, tough, uncompliant, confrontational. Work yourself up, for all the soldiers, public servants, teachers, friends, enemies, and indifferent people you know. Trump is removing any and every thoughtful person from the Government, the "Deep State" and he is replacing it with "The Shallow, obedient State". And nothing will stop him that I can see. He won't respect Votes of the people any more than he respected votes of the House and Senate. Get mean, my friends, and my opponents. Disagree with me and talk to each other, but dig in for a battle of your life against the destruction of love, justice, truth, science, religion, and hope. Prepare for a man a lot less educated, less moral, than Hitler. And he now has the power, and he's using it. Start standing up, firmly, in the path of tyranny, There's a new Russia House in Kentucky. Where's the next one? Where will the China and Saudi Houses go? Texas, Florida, Alabama? New York and California to follow? Pleas, "do not go gently into that good night" of hate & fear and slavery.

The 100 years of memorable Republicans

The Republican Party, since 1920 has given us: Henry Cabot Lodge; who kept US from entering the League of Nations that Woodrow Wilson fought to get. The result was WWII.

   Then we got Hoover and the Great Depression. Famously there was Joe McCarthy in the 50s. He redefined American as only the long, cheating, stealing Republicans and declared everyone else a Communist.

The good old “Your President is not a crook Nixon. Close to 50 Republicans went to prison then.

Ronald Reagan couldn’t remember violating the law that Congress passed to keep the Iran-Contra affair from happening. Good old boys went to jail for that one, too. George Bush and Dick Cheney are still looking for the weapons of mass destruction. Only 5000 Americans dead, 25000 wounded and 4 or 5 trillion dollars, and counting, to pay for these lies and the Republican cheats and thieves who got the kick backs from the death and destruction that the Generals were continuously telling them couldn’t be won.

Vote for more liars, cheats, and thieves, vote Republican, so ignorance, hate, and crime can continue to govern the American people.

Regarding Current America

The application of the Executive power of the Presidency in an arbitrary and capricious manner is illegal and unconstitutional.  Any powers given to our Representatives for the purposes of  their responsibilities, when applied arbitrarily and/or capriciously toward those responsibilities. No use of the power transferred from the people to their Government officials is unquestionable, as the officials themselves, echoed by the media, keep saying.  NONE. Assassinating foreign officials violates the Fifth Amendment: "No Person shall ... be deprived life ... without due process of law..." PERIOD. The firing of senior FBI officers, State Department Officials, Military and Executive officers for personal and political reasons political reasons is illegal, and destructive to a coherent Government. I believe the Government has ceased to honor the Constitution and that we are no longer a nation ruled by law. After the Republican Senate, many of whom got into office on the 'coattails' of Putin's interference for Trump in 2016,   finds Trump not guilty of the Impeachment they will have Crowned the King of America, a man above the law, beyond indictment and beyond impeachment, beyond control. To me, it is totally unbelievable. But I ave watched Trump play the Republicans like a piano and I see the Republicans bend their knees to True and Current King. Pathetic and tragic. The great experiment has failed.  We have failed, failed ourselves, our predecessors, and our progeny.

Response to NYT article on "Depression and Politics, Jan 1 2020

I'm depressed that 6 members of the Presidents election campaign of 2016 were correctly put into prison, or soon going. All plead guilty or found guilty at Federal trial. How is this possible in a Nation ruled by law? It isn't. How is it possible that our President has cheated on all three of his wives, run a fraudulent University, fined 25 million dollars for committing the fraud? How is it possible that Senate Republicans who got elected on Trumps Putin created coat-tails are to Judge the President's Impeachment trial? They owe their Senate seat, as Trump owes his Presidency, to the Putin/Russia denial of free elections in America. And they have already said they will not give a fair trial. I am depressed that America has turned the Constitution and laws into pieces of paper, totally unsupported by our Representatives. The rule of law has been replaced by the rule of men, warned against in the Federalist Papers. Whoever isn't depressed is watching a different world from mine. The experiment and the promise of The United States has failed. No more "free elections", "free speech", no more "bill of rights"! the President cannot be indicted and will not be removed by a trial on the Bills of Impeachment by his accomplices in Constitutional destruction, the Republican Senators that Putin put into office along with Trump. The "Nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal" has ceased to endure. Isn't that reason to be depressed?
